Since the client had a previous unresolved issue of creating co-working spaces, we first mapped out the space, did a 3D render of it and then gave them a virtual experience of the workspace. Our design focused on cross floor communication and improving interpersonal connectivity by creating collaborative workstations. Inspired by a ‘Lego block’ concept, it had pieces that could be moved around and converted into small hubs.
Design interventions were in the form of creating a number of war rooms, project rooms, idea exchange spaces, social hubs and casual meeting spaces that were strategically located throughout the layout to foster a greater sense of interaction between employees. A fun and colourful cafeteria was designed with different lights, installations, furniture and wall finishes creating a high communication space where work, interaction, food and fun came together.
